With no one to save him, he lived the thug life, aimed high, died in sewers. To save Greirat from Irithyll, you have to save Siegward from the well outside the Church before the Cathedral of the Deep by buying his armor from Patches and giving it to him.The Greirat quest is such a buggy piece of garbage.
